In his first season with the Warriors, Durant averaged 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in the playoffs. He was named the NBA Finals MVP after averaging 35.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in the five-game series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Durant's performance in Game 5 of the Finals was particularly impressive. He scored 39 points on 14-of-20 shooting, including 6-of-9 from three-point range. He also had seven rebounds and five assists.

The Warriors' victory was their fifth NBA championship in the past nine years. They are now tied with the Boston Celtics for the most NBA championships in league history.
